Meet Jennifer, Commodity Buyer
Amazing work at WernerCo happens behind the scenes in our global manufacturing facilities. The unsung heroes are men and women who swiftly weld, paint, assemble the parts, and those that support the operations to keep it all running. Jennifer Mallory, our September spotlight (known as the “Paint Lady” at our KNAACK and WEATHER GUARD facility in Crystal Lake, IL) is one such silent hero who makes it all happen off the radar. Jen earned her degree in Business Management in 2011, and shortly thereafter accepted a position with WernerCo as the Floor Supervisor for Paint and Welding at the Crystal Lake facility. Through her steadfast work ethic and strong performance, in 2019 she was awarded the promotion to Commodity Buyer. In her 11 years at WernerCo, her advice to others is to look for the positives. She said, “there is always a silver lining to a situation. Sometimes it’s not obvious, but it is always there, find it when and where you must.”
